Germany’s minimum wage will increase progressively

In accordance with the MILOG minimum wage law, posted drivers, who carry out transportation operations to Germany, will have to receive a higher salary. So, definitely, it will increase costs of transportation for all carriers.

Together with the new Mobility Package regulations there will be a significant change in Germany’s Minimum Wage.  In accordance with the MILOG minimum wage law, posted  drivers, who carry out transportation operations to Germany, will have to receive a higher salary. So, definitely, it will increase costs of transportation for all carriers.

The Germany’s minimum wage will be raised over several stages by reaching 10.45 euros gross per hour in the middle of 2022, probably on 1 July 2022. The first one increase is expected already on 1st of January 2021 when the hourly rate will rise till 9,50 EUR

 The current minimum wage in Germany is 9.35 euros, so there will be a significant increase in the next two years.
