New Hourly rates for passenger transport in France (Macron Law)

French collective agreement for Transport of Passengers puts in place new hourly rates for driving workers as well as increased bonuses for Sunday/holiday work.

Hourly wage for workers in the road transport of PASSENGERS:

Minimum wage for transport of passengers has been updated by the collective agreement in this sector, by Addendum 111 of 19 December 2018, entered into force on 19/05/2019:

Hourly pay must be increased according to the years spent in the company:

+2%, +4%, +6% and +8% after respectively 2, 5, 10 and 15 years of service in the company.

Pursuant to the national collective bargaining agreement, the figures in the table above shall be increased as follows:

+3 %: workers with a mechanic or collector qualification;

– Sunday and public holidays work:

  • more than (3) hours: 28,66 € prime/day
  • less than (3) hours: 14,34 € prime/day
