Color Line strengthens cargo transport and from Norway

From Friday, 27 March at 16:30, Color Line’s M/S SuperSpeed 1 will be back in traffic between Kristiansand and Hirtshals.
On Monday 16 March, SuperSpeed 1, was temporally laid due to the governments measurements to reduce the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. In the period 16th to 27th March, the ship was intended to undergo planned docking in Denmark. However, due to the occurring events the ship has instead been alongside in Kristiansand. From Friday 27 March, Super Speed 1 will again start sailing according to the ordinary schedule between Kristiansand and Hirtshals with one roundtrip per day. Leaving Kristiansand in the afternoon and returning from Hirtshals in the evening. The ship will accept trailers with cargo and drivers only.

Authorities throughout Europe have in place exemptions from the strict travel and quarantine regulations in order to facilitate the transport of goods. – We have therefore chosen to maintain the important cargo offer between Norway, Germany and Denmark, says Trond Kleivdal, CEO of Color Line.

In addition, Color Line Cargo offer service with the Ro-Ro ship M/S Color Carrier between Oslo and Kiel according to normal sailing schedule, and normal schedule on the route with M/S Superspeed 2 between Larvik and Hirtshals.
