Are you returning or transiting through France &/or Belgium? You still need to have an international derogatory attestation to present to border control with the required documents.

As the Covid-19 situation is getting worse in the world, Europe has taken some new measures to face it by reducing the number of contamination. That is the case in France which implemented from Saturday 17th October, a late night curfew from 21:00 to 6:00 for residents in Paris, Marseille-Aix, Grenoble, Toulouse, Montpellier, Saint – Etienne, Rouen. Belgium adopted also a decree on new restrictions by introducing a curfew from 00:00 to 5:00 am during which it is forbidden to drive on public roads.

The new restriction in France, from the last Saturday which will last for at least four weeks, is making residents not be able to go to restaurants or private homes during these hours. Anyone found to be transgressing the new rules will face a fine of €135. The government also moved to reinstate its COVID-19 state of health emergency.

For Belgium, business trips and transport operations can still take place, but under presentation of the relevant certificate. Carriers, in order to justify the journey of the driver, can make out the relevant certificate themselves or present the CMR for inspection.

We ensure for this time, that nothing has changed for the transport foreign drivers who have presented an international travel certificate for France & Belgium, that you will find here for France & here for Belgium.
